Fast Acting Essence of Kangaroo

My mind is reeling from trying to figure out what "essence of kangaroo" might be (some sort of hormonal derivative?) and also imagining the situation in which it entered traditional Chinese medicine as a remedy for sexual problems. There are no kangaroos in China. Of course it also made me think of my sister down under, who reports having eaten kangaroo on occasion.

Am researching in this subject and chanced upon your site. Essence of Kangaroos is really popular among Chinese men. It is basically ground up kangaroo testicles and meat. The pills are not authorized for sale in Australia but are allowed for export. The Chinese believe that you can supplement a certain body part or organ by consuming the same, like eating more liver will give you the necessary nutrients to sustain a healthy liver. That theory works well for certain organs and to a certain extent, but to the large majority of the Chinese who are not experts in Chinese medicine, this theory is taken to the extreme.
